Every single day we arise with a new opportunity to change the world.
A life is either all spiritual or not spiritual at all. No man can serve two masters. Your life is shaped by the end you live for. You are made in the image of what you desire.

You might believe that changing the world is indeed hard, but the greatest people in this world are people you’ve never heard of, never met. They are those who walk with God every single day bringing unconditional love into this world.
I could bring out examples of people I know and have seen, and have been influenced by:
The Messy Sunday crew who is made up of a teacher and his wife in San Diego who is in love with God and in turn has taken to loving the homeless that live in a canyon in San Diego.
There’s my friend Tim Bresenden who passed away who loved the migrant workers who lived in another canyon behind his house in Carmel Mountain.
There’s James Pearson whose business Acholi Beads is about enabling microbusiness in war torn Uganda which is bringing live to those who are suffering from disease, violence, and all the effects of brokenness in the midst of violence.
You might wonder why I’m on this path, and what this has to do with my focus on simplicity, but to live below my means, and to gain a self sustainable income ultimately will give me more opportunities to love those in the world who have no other chance because of poverty, disease, corruption, and violence.
Life is what we make of it, and I’d rather spend the rest of my life bringing the love of God into the world without all the religious nonsense that seems to make people crazy. Simply put my religion is love, and all of mankind is my brother, my sister, and my family.
What about you ? Are you overwhelmed by all the bad news in the world… Be the change the world needs start by loving right where you are.
